These stainless steel cooling eye pads are a pair of contoured, weighted pads that rest under the eyes. Kept in the fridge they deliver sustained cold therapy to de-puff the eye area and calm the skin; warmed in water they work the other way for tired, tight eyes.
Because they are solid stainless steel rather than gel, they hold temperature far longer, will not split or leak, and can be cleaned and disinfected between users rather than replaced.
The crescent contour follows the orbital bone so the pad sits without pressing on the eyeball. Mirror polished to glide easily over eye cream or serum.
Dimensions
Each pad measures 2.1 inch by 1.1 inch (about 53 mm by 28 mm), roughly the footprint of a credit card length. Supplied as a matched pair in a clear moulded tray.
How to Use
Three temperatures are possible with the same pair: warm therapy (soak in warm water for 2 to 3 minutes), cold therapy (freeze or chill for 20 minutes), and normal temperature (simply relax with them for 20 minutes).
Application
After cooling, place one pad under each eye and rest for 15 to 20 minutes. From there the pads can also be glided gently outwards along the cheek and brow to encourage drainage, or rolled lightly over the temples and along the forearm. Always clean and dry the pads after use.
Wash with mild soap and warm water, dry fully, and store in the supplied tray or bag. Do not use abrasive cleaners on the mirror surface.
