This stainless steel facial reflexology pen is a double-ended acupressure tool: a fine ball tip for precise trigger-point and reflexology work, and a larger rounded ball for broader facial massage. It is used in facial reflexology, acupressure and deep-tissue trigger point work where fingers are too wide to reach.
Made from 304 stainless steel and finished with mirror polishing, so the tips glide without scratching. The knurled or chambered mid-section gives a secure grip during precise pressure work, and the whole tool sanitises easily between clients.
Three styles are available: a chambered silver pen with a knurled grip, a smooth all-silver pen, and an electroplated gold pen. The gold finish is a PVD plating applied over stainless steel.
Dimensions
Overall length 160 mm (6.3 inch). Fine tip ball 2 mm (0.078 inch) diameter, broad tip ball 10 mm (0.39 inch). The mid-section ball is 13 mm. Mirror polished, with no sharp edge on either tip.
How to Use
Facial reflexology and acupressure
Hold the pen like a pencil with the tip angled towards the skin. Work the fine tip over the reflex points along the brow, nose sides, cheek and jaw with light, steady pressure rather than rubbing. Use the large ball tip on the temples, cheekbones and around the ear for a broader, softer contact.
Trigger points on the body
The same tool reaches trigger points in the shoulder, upper back, forearm and hand. Apply pressure until you feel the point release, hold briefly, then move on rather than dragging the tip across the skin.
Clean with mild soap and warm water, dry fully, and wipe with a professional disinfectant between clients. The mirror-polished finish should not be cleaned with abrasive pads.
