An oval dry body brush with a smooth wooden base, a firm natural bristle field and a cotton hand strap. It is made for dry brushing before a shower - short strokes from the feet upwards and from the hands towards the shoulders.
The bristles are natural plant fibre, firm enough to exfoliate but trimmed so the brush stays comfortable on skin. The wooden base sits flat in the palm, and the cotton strap holds the brush on the hand or hangs it up to dry.
Two versions are available from the same shape: bristles on one side only, or a double-sided version with a bristle face and a smooth wooden massage face.
How to Use
Brush on dry skin before showering. Start at the feet and brush upwards towards the knees and thighs, then from the hands towards the shoulders, and work across the back and torso in circular strokes. Always work towards the heart, and keep the pressure light - the skin may look pink, it should not feel sore. Sessions of five to ten minutes are enough.
Care
Shake out the bristles after each use and air-dry the brush with the bristles facing down, away from damp. Do not soak the wooden base. The cotton strap can be washed.
