1. How the Range Is Organised
Profiles are grouped by working area rather than by name, because what a buyer needs to know first is what the tool does on the face or body.

2. Reading a Profile Reference
Each profile has dimensions attached: overall length, width, thickness and edge radius. Those four numbers, not the name, define what you are ordering.
Two profiles with the same name from different suppliers can differ meaningfully. Two profiles with the same four dimensions will behave the same way.
Order by dimension, not by name. A name is a shortcut for a conversation; a dimension is a specification.
3. What Can Be Changed on a Standard Profile
On a stock profile you can change the finish, the marking and the packaging without any tooling. Changing the length, width, angle or edge radius makes it a custom shape, which needs a mould, and the minimum moves to 1,000 to 3,000 pieces.

4. Assembling a Set
Sets are assembled from the same profile library, which keeps finishing and inspection consistent across the pieces. A set is usually built around one working area with a second tool for a complementary area.
Because sets are packed as one unit, the insert is designed for the combination rather than for individual tools.
5. From Reference to Order
Send the profile references, the dimensions you want, the finish, the logo method and the packaging format, with quantities. That is enough to produce a drawing and a quotation.
If you have a physical reference, send it. A sample removes the last ambiguity from the specification.
