How to Choose a Reliable Gua Sha Manufacturer in China
A buyer's checklist for vetting gua sha factories: material range, in-house steps, quality control, and the signs a supplier is a trader, not a manufacturer.
Start With the Material Range
A factory that actually produces gua sha tools works across material families - stainless steel, bian stone, jade and quartz, ceramic - because each material has different equipment. A supplier offering only one material with everything else 'available' is usually a trader reselling other factories' stock.
Check In-House Steps
Ask who does the polishing, the engraving and the packaging. Real manufacturers control the finishing steps that decide quality: edge polishing on steel tools, hand finishing on stone, and logo application. Request photos of these steps, not just of finished goods.
Quality Control Evidence
Ask how a batch is inspected. At minimum, the factory should check each batch for surface defects, weight tolerance on metal tools, and logo alignment on customized orders. For stainless steel, confirm the grade - 304 food grade is the standard for skin-contact tools.
Customization Depth
